Why I love to travel to Paris? It is the city for me. To visit here, for me is to really live and love. As they say, Paris is the city of love. In Samantha Schutz words, “Even the pigeons are dancing, kissing, going in circles, mounting each other. Paris is the city of love, even for the birds.”
This city has a unique vibe to the way Parisians live. People are laid back and relaxed enjoying their day, their time, capturing every moment. The heart of the city is frozen in time waiting for something to happen or change. However, that never seems to be the case. The only things that do manage to change over time are the people and cars.
The moment you set foot onto the street you are paralyzed by the beauty of what’s in front of you: old monumental and historic buildings surround every street, and bridges with golden statues lay across the Seine River inviting you to cross over. Louvre and Notre Dame lure you in to explore Paris history; the Tuileries Gardens, the Place de la Concorde, and the beginning of the Champs Elysees are massive and can’t be missed. When you do find them, you cannot help but stare at their beauty trying to remember every detail. Nearly everything is in plain sight, except the Luxembourg Gardens and the Palais Royal.
Paris is a city that makes you love—doesn’t matter what or who—it just has a huge impact on one’s life. Paris will always be my city of love. I will go back to my Paris as many times as I can.
