2019/2020 Fall/Winter season is bound to bring diversity. On the one hand, many designers seemed to be influenced by the ’70s and early ’80s. Fashion shows by Balenciaga, Celine, and Burberry display just that. As French Vogue states: “paying homage to the not-so-discreet lavishness of the French Bourgeoisie.” On the other hand, more and more designers are focusing on empowering women. Portraying a strong-willed, fearless rebel. Alexander McQueen, Prada, and Louis Vitton fashion shows focused on rebellious wear. Leather looks, embellished with spikes, bright colors, and bold makeup on the models filled the runways. With such varying influences for the F/W fashion, both ideas share a similar theme- they recognize the woman of today and what she desires to wear.
To different Styles seen on the Runway:
Spotlight F/W season:
The most notable trends of this season are Bottega Veneta shoes as wells as THE POUCH “BAG.” Jacquemus Mini Bag, cape coats by designers such as Burberry, Mui Mui, and Mark Jacobs. Most importantly, the tweed houndstooth Chanel suit that’s taking on a life of its own.
P.S As well as pay attention to trends such as polo shirts, sweater vests, and three-piece set.
Let’s talk about the Suit/Fabric & Print:
The suit is a massive part of modern Women’s life. Office work, business lunch, or keeping it stylish after-work: Women are wearing the suit! It is in today’s world that we have the choice to keep our wardrobes vibrant, fresh, and, most importantly, sophisticated. Creative minds behind fashion houses such as Gucci, Dolce, and Gabbana, and Dior have given us the modern women of today the dominating design/fabric. Head-to-toe, the high contrasting houndstooth, and the many variations of check prints.

Other trends to look out for The Oversized Headband & Large Sparkly Earrings:
Oversized and sparkly seems to be the fashion move for jewelry and hair accessories. Bloggers and celebrities are catching the headband and pearl hair clips flu. It’s a plague that we can’t seem to get enough of. In this snowball effect, large jewelry is also spreading like wildfire across all stores. ZARA, Mango, H&M, Net-A-Porter, and many others carry a large variety of both trends in many options to please the pickiest of us.
